This work started as Bible Believers’ Fellowship and was established during the 1980’s. Regular services were held in the Pond Community Center of Dickson. In 1996, Bro John Andes, the then Interim Pastor, encouraged the Fellowship to purchase an old Presbyterian church building built in 1925. In 1999, Pastor Jerry Lee Browning proposed the official name be changed from Fellowship to Tabernacle. The new name represented not only that the work was fully established, but that she owned an established building wherein all her regularly services were held; Furthermore, the assembly was governed by its Memeber-Elected Officiers, for the Financial, Ambassadorial, and Spiritual welfare of said assembly: Bible Believers’ Tabernacle of Dickson.
